DAKOTA CITY GUIDELINES FOR BRUSH PICK UP

APRIL 1ST  - OCTOBER 1ST

​​    1.) We ask when you trim branches-TRIM-There is no load size limit but there is a 3 stop per house per season limit. 

    2.) Brush should be placed in the street right of way.

    3.) Branches are to be stacked parallel with the street.

           Example - Avenues- Branches stacked lengthways East and West

           Example-Streets - Branches stacked lengthways North and South

    4.)  Branches should be shorter than 10 feet and less than 6 inches in diameter.

    5.)   If you need to make a 2nd 0r 3rd pile, have a 2 foot or more space between piles so they don't interlock and drag each other apart as each pile is loaded separately. Tip-If your pile gets to be more than 5 feet wide or high you might want to start a new pile. Please remember to have 2 foot or more of space between the edge of the pile and the edge of the street.

    6.)  In order to have good neighbors , you have to be a good neighbor. We are more than willing to work with you if you are willing to work with us and allow this service to continue.
